What to do when your LoongBuy parcel arrives
Across eighteen official help pages there is exactly one quantified reporting period, and it is this one: report a problem found after signing as soon as possible, and preferably within 72 hours of delivery. Everything else is written as the platform's stated period.
That is worth knowing in both directions. It is a real deadline, and it is also the only one anyone can quote to you honestly.
Look at the carton
Is it intact, is the sealing tape complete, is there crushing, damage, moisture or signs of opening. If it looks wrong, inspect in front of the courier if you can.
Inspect if you can
Check the quantity, look for obvious damage, note the issue on the delivery record, and refuse the parcel outright if the problem is serious.
Within 72 hours
Report damage, missing items or anything abnormal to customer service as soon as possible, and keep the carton and the tape.
Photograph in this order, and stop opening things
Each step destroys the evidence for the one before it, which is why the order matters more than the thoroughness.
- EVD-01
The sealed carton, from more than one side
Crushing, moisture and tape that has been cut and re-laid are only visible before you open it. This is also the photograph the carrier is most likely to be asked for.
- EVD-02
The opening itself, if you can
An unboxing video is on the operator's list of helpful materials. It is the only format that shows the contents and the seal in the same frame.
- EVD-03
The goods, against the order
Photographs of the goods are a named material. Shoot what is wrong and also what is present, because a missing-item claim is an argument about what was there.
- EVD-04
Then keep the box
Keep the original outer carton and the sealing tape. The carrier may need them for verification, and being unable to provide required materials is itself on the list of things that affect compensation.
A signature settles delivery and settles nothing else
Three statements from the delivery page, in order of how often they surprise people.
| Statement | What follows |
|---|---|
| Once a parcel is marked delivered, signed or successfully delivered, the transport process is basically complete | The carrier's obligation has been discharged in its own records. A later claim is arguing against that record rather than from a blank page. |
| Parcels already shown as delivered, signed, or signed by an agent are named in the no-compensation clause | Signed by an agent includes a neighbour or a concierge. If your building signs for you, that is the record, and it is on the exclusion list in the agreement. |
| You may refuse the parcel directly if the problem is serious | Refusal is the strongest move available at the door and the only one that stops the clock before it starts. It is also the one nobody remembers is permitted. |
